The epic carver is a breakthrough in inline speed skating

As a skater, you make speed using a double push or a main push only. An efficient main push requires your skate to follow a curved trajectory. A regular skate is made to go straight forward. The EPIC CARVER though, will make a curved trajectory by itself, reducing frictional losses during the main push. You will experience an increased forward velocity while spending the same amount of energy. Furthermore, the EPIC CARVER facilitates you to run through a curve at a piste on a higher speed. The result is higher speeds, higher comfort in skating.

The introduction of the epic carver for inline skating can be compared to innovations in other sports:

  • The clap skate made speed skating faster and more efficient
  • The introduction of the carve skis made skiing accessible

The name of the EPIC CARVER is inspired by the behaviour of the carve ski: Tilting results in turning.

PRO

The PRO frame is developed for experienced racers, whether or not using a double push at the moment. It has a balanced support of the main push for cruising at 35 -40 km/h and it will support speeding up with an always available high pushing force, effectively divided over all wheels of the skate. It supports the push on a straight track and in curves on a piste.
